Our landscaping team replaced slippery, rotten decking with a durable and attractive solution in Lanhydrock.

Removing the old decking and installing a small granite wall with granite setts to create steps.
Implementing drainage works and a cavity to prevent damp issues and improve water management.
Laying Raj Green Sandstone slabs to transform the area into a long-lasting and visually appealing space.

Our tree team successfully removed a large, mature Beech tree that was showing signs of decay and posed a risk to the client’s water pump house, their farm’s sole water supply.

Key steps in the project:

Safely removed two large limbs to reduce weight and risk.
Felled the remaining tree using a winch to carefully guide it away from the pump house.

This project prioritized safety and precision to protect vital infrastructure while addressing the hazard effectively.

Falmouth Docks – Emergency Exit Track Reinstatement

At short notice, we reinstated an emergency exit track at Falmouth Docks that had become unfit for use.

Key details of the project:

150 tonnes of tarmac scalpings were relocated from one side of the site to the other.
The scalpings were spread and compacted to restore the track and fill areas eroded by washout.
The project was initiated within two days of the initial contact and completed efficiently within the same week.

This swift response ensured the track was promptly restored to a safe and functional condition.

Our team successfully completed the clearance of 150 linear meters of a leat to reduce the risk of flooding downstream.

The project involved:

Clearing vegetation along the banks to ensure safe and efficient access for machinery.
Removing silt and weed growth in sections, requiring temporary removal and replacement of knee rail fencing during the works.
Draining and removing all waste, including litter, which was then transported off-site to a licensed disposal facility.

The job was conducted under a footpath closure, which we efficiently arranged in-house to minimize disruption.

We carried out soft landscaping for a new, large industrial unit at South Crofty, meeting planning conditions required as part of the project.

Our work included:

Preparing 5,877 square meters of soil for planting and seeding, transforming ground that had been overgrown with weeds after 12 months of neglect.
Seeding 3,627 square meters of wildflower meadow, which produced promising results despite the late-season sowing.
Planting 9,290 plants and 43 trees to enhance the site’s natural appeal.

As part of the project, we are now providing maintenance for the site during an initial 12-month period to ensure its successful establishment and growth.

Carbis Bay Planter Project: Elevating Carbis Bay Train Station for the 2021 G7 Summit!

We had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Ground Control Ltd on a prestigious project in Carbis Bay, St Ives. Tasked with constructing a remarkable planter at Carbis Bay train station in preparation for the momentous 2021 G7 summit, we took on the challenge.

Working alongside Ground Control’s skilled team, we operated day and night shifts to ensure a timely and successful completion. The primary objective was to build a striking planter that would serve as a captivating centerpiece for the station. To complement this centerpiece, we also completed fencing works on both sides of the planter, adding an extra touch of finesse to the overall design.

Access posed a significant challenge for this project, as all materials, including our mini digger, had to be transported across the train line. However, our experienced team navigated these obstacles with precision and care, ensuring a safe and seamless process throughout.

The end result was nothing short of exceptional – a beautifully crafted planter that not only met but exceeded the expectations set for such a prominent event. It was an honor to contribute our expertise to this important undertaking, enhancing Carbis Bay train station’s appeal and leaving a lasting impact on the area.

Garden Makeover in Padstow, Cornwall

We’re excited to share the results of our latest landscaping project in the charming town of Padstow, Cornwall. Our goal was simple: to create a beautiful garden that’s easy to maintain.

Working closely with our valued client, we designed a perfect outdoor space. The garden features lovely Sandstone paving, stylish fencing for privacy, and a focal point – a charming pergola – perfect for relaxing.

To add a touch of elegance, we used Cedar cladding to edge a raised bbq area and Slate cladding to face steps throughout the garden, giving it that extra wow-factor. Additionally, we incorporated eye-catching Callywith slate gravel for a unique and textured look.

Of course, we couldn’t forget the plants! Thoughtfully selected and placed, they bring life and beauty to the entire garden.
