At short notice, we reinstated an emergency exit track at Falmouth Docks that had become unfit for use.

Key details of the project:

• 150 tonnes of tarmac scalpings were relocated from one side of the site to the other.
• The scalpings were spread and compacted to restore the track and fill areas eroded by washout.
• The project was initiated within two days of the initial contact and completed efficiently within the same week.

This swift response ensured the track was promptly restored to a safe and functional condition.
